FY11 :: In our fiscal year 2011 we served 190 clients (plus their non-offending family members) in Clay, Clinton, Hamilton, Jefferson, Marion, Washington and Wayne counties.

FY11 :: The Amy Center Prevention Educators presented the Good Touch/Bad Touch program to over 5400 children, teens and adults!

June 2011 :: The Amy Center sponsored our annual Golf Tournament at Greenview Country Club in Mt. Vernon. Thank you to all who participated!

October 2010 :: Received our OFFICIAL re-accreditation certificate from National Children's Alliance.

The Amy Center ...

    ...is dedicated to improving the system's response to child sexual abuse victims. Too often these young victims must endure repeated interviews conducted in uncomfortable settings, further increasing their stress and anxiety. The Amy Center is committed to lessening the trauma experienced by victims of child sexual abuse as they turn to the justice system for protection.
    ...is dedicated to teaching children skills they need to prevent or interrupt child sexual abuse.
    ...works by teaching children what abuse is, developing skills and empowering them to act if threatened or victimized.

MISSION AND ACTIVITY



The Amy Schulz Child Advocacy Center is providing a safe place for children who are victims of sexual or severe physical abuse. The board, staff and multi-disciplinary team members work together to provide intervention, prevention, education and advocacy services for the best interest of abused children.
